Nominations are open until midnight on Sunday, May 10, 2026.
The long list will be published on Friday, May 15th and the short list on Monday, May 18th at 12 p.m.
Once the nomination window closes, nominations in each category will be presented to a panel of over 20 judges for decision. The top four will be announced online and the winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Wednesday June 10th.
We accept nominations from people outside the region. The only requirement is that the reason for nomination must be an affiliation with a club that we cover in football in Berkshire (a full list can be found at the bottom of this page). We present the winners with certificates and a trophy.

- You can nominate as many people as you like for each prize – the number of nominations counts for the jury.
- However, quality is just as important. The more detailed you explain your reasons for nomination, the better

- Due to the difficulties in obtaining approvals under child protection laws, we will not consider players under the age of 16 for nomination in any of the categories
PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
